Pump Boat Donation and Turn-over Ceremony organized by Japanese Association of Cebu

Japanese Association of Cebu held a pump boats donation and turn-over ceremony at an English school in Lapu-Lapu City on May 16, 2022, as their efforts for assisting those who were greatly affected by Typhoon Odette last December. Eight pump boats were donated to five islands in Lapu-Lapu City, Bohol and Cordova. More than fifty people, including Mayor of Lapu-Lapu, Honorable Junard Chan, attended the ceremony. Mr. Hideki YAMAJI, Consul General of Japan, admired the initiative taken by the Japanese Association of Cebu, saying that such initiative will help forging deeper and wider ties between Japan and the Philippines, especially Visayas.
