On August 4, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the recipients of the Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2022.
Dr. Maria Rosario Piquero Ballescas, the President PHILAJAMES-Cebu, is confirmed as the recipient from Cebu on the grounds of promoting mutual understanding between Japan and the Philippines.
The Foreign Minister’s Commendations are awarded to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in international fields, in order to acknowledge their contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries and areas.
This year, the Commendations will be awarded to 197 individuals and 48 groups.
