Consul General, Hideki YAMAJI, offered flowers to Filipino- Japanese Memorial Monument located at Rosario Heights, Bacolod City in Negros Occidental on November 9, 2022.
This monument says as follows;
“This memorial monument was erected to the memory of the Filipinos, the Japanese soldiers and civilians who sacrificed their lives in Negros Island during the World War II. We cordially pray that their spirits may be consoled and everlasting peace and prosperity may reign all over the world.”
This monument is constructed by Mr. Mitsubayashi Seiichi, Architect from Kyoto, Japan; Mr. Sotoo Furukawa Project Engineer, Canla-on City ; and Mr. Francisco Abao Jr. Bacolod City, Construction Engineer on October 18, 1980.
This monument says as follows;
