The 21st Nihongo Speech Contest in Cebu (4th February 2023)

The 21st Nihongo Speech Contest in Cebu was held on Feburary 4th , and Consul General Hideki YAMAJI attended the contest as a judge and made opening remarks.
This year seven contestants participated in the contests, and Ms. Pagador, Juliana Rose and Mr. Lawas, Alex Tagalog won the first prize in each category. In addition, Ms.Sagayno, Rheiza James and Ms. Adan, Joy Dorothy Cos were awarded the special prize by Consul General Hideki YAMAJI. The winners have a chance to participate in the national speech contest in Manila.
This contest is organized by the Japanese Association Cebu, Inc. in cooperation with the Japan Foundation, Manila, every year contributing Japanese language education in Cebu.
