On December 2, Minister and Consul General HANADA from the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, the acting Consul General YADOMI, Mr. INOMATA, Director of Philippine Nikkei-Jin Legal Support Center Inc. (PNLSC) and Ms. Ines Mallari, President of Rengokai Inc., had a meeting with the officers and members of the Cebu Nikkei-jin Kai Inc.(CNJK)in Cebu.
The Government of Japan has contracted the Philippine Nikkei-jin Legal Support Center to conduct the "17th Survey of Second-Generation Filipino-Nikkei-jin”. Individual interviews with some Japanese descendants for the Japanese nationality acquisition have been conducted in the Philippines including in the Visayas.
