Visit to Negros Occidental Filipino - Japanese Descendants Association, Inc. (4th December 2023)

Minister and Consul General HANADA from the Embassy of Japan in Manila and the acting Consul General YADOMI from the Consulate-General of Japan in Cebu visited Negros Occidental Filipino - Japanese Descendants Association, Inc. in Bacolod City on December 4, 2023.
They were welcomed by the President Ms. Stella Takahara with the officers and members of the association. The purpose of their visit was to explain supports for Filipino- Nikkei-jin including the Japanese nationality acquisition for 2nd Generation Nikkei-jin. The Government of Japan has contracted the Philippine Nikkei-jin Legal Support Center to conduct the "17th Survey of Second-Generation Filipino-Nikkei-jin.
