Consul General Hideaki MATSUO offered flowers at the Capt. Isao Yamazoe Shrine in Dulag, Leyte on May 14, 2024. The inscription on the monument says that the shrine was built by local people in Dulag in commemoration of Captain Yamazoe, who had a kind demeanor and created strong friendship with the community during WWII.
