Consul General Hideaki MATSUO observed the free dental clinic conducted by the Kanagawa Alliance of Dental Volunteers Overseas (KADVO) in Cebu City. (March 17, 2025)

 On March 17, Consul General Hideaki MATSUO is invited to observe the free dental clinic conducted by the Kanagawa Alliance of Dental Volunteers Overseas (KADVO) in Brgy. Inayawan in Cebu City. The group consists of dentists, oral hygienists, and volunteers from Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan. This year marks the 40th anniversary for KADVO to conduct Free Dental Clinic in Cebu in collaboration with the Philippine Dental Association. This year's dental mission includes dental services to 1,200 population in the Barangay and dental education to around 2,500 Grade 1 to 3 pupils of Inayawan Elementary School.
Consul General Matsuo expressed his gratitude to the group for their generosity and extending support to children in Cebu specifically on their oral needs.
