On June 7, 2025, Consul General Hideaki MATSUO handed over the new sets of Kendo equipment to Cebu Kendo Club (CKC) as a symbol of the generosity and goodwill of the people of Bizen City and Bizen City Cultural Arts Foundation in Okayama Prefecture, Japan.
The Cebu Kendo Club (CKC), led by Mr. Paul Vincent Miñoza, expressed their gratitude to Bizen City and the Foundation for the sets of kendo equipment. We hope the new kendo equipment will help them practice, level-up and promote kendo among the people of Cebu.
Since its founding in 2015, the CKC has expanded its membership.
