The Consulate-General of Japan in Cebu is currently seeking to hire one (1) local staff in the Admin Section. The details of the job description, conditions, and qualifications are as follows. The application deadline is February 24, 2026.

- From 8:30 am to 5:15 pm (lunch break from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm)
* You may be required to work on holidays or overtime as necessary.
* The above monthly salary is an approximate amount inclusive of all allowances except overtime pay and will be determined based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
- Annual paid leave: 15 days per year / Sick leave: 7 days per year
* However, no leave will be granted during the six-month probation period.
- University graduate or equivalent educational background.
- Holder of permanent resident status in the Philippines with valid work authorization (Non-Philippine nationals).
- Able to work in English and Tagalog or Cebuano.
- Preferably with more than one year of practical experience in general clerical work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software.

10. Selection Process
The primary screening will be conducted based on submitted documents. Only those who pass the initial screening will be contacted regarding the schedule for the secondary screening (interview).
Failure to answer repeated calls from the Consulate or failure to respond may result in disqualification.
For non-native Japanese speakers, a separate Japanese language test may be conducted, as high proficiency in Japanese is required for this position.
