On March 4, 2026, Consul-General Yudai UENO attended the turnover ceremony in which Taiheiyo Cement Philippines Inc. presented a brand-new ambulance, and a ₱3 million check donation to the province of Cebu for typhoon” Tino” damage. Honorable Pamela Baricuatro, Governor of Cebu, formally received from Mr. Takashi MIYASHITA, president of Taiheiyo Cement Philippines Inc.
During the ceremony, Consul-General UENO made remarks emphasizing that the generous contribution reflects Taiheiyo Cement Philippines’s commitment to social responsibility and community partnership in Cebu. The new ambulance will enhance the province’s emergency response capabilities, helping ensure faster and more reliable medical assistance to communities in need.
