Recruitment of Local Staff at the Consulate General of Japan in Cebu (Consular and Security Section)

The Consulate General of Japan in Cebu is currently seeking to hire one (1) local employee in the Consular-Security Section.
*Work on holidays may be required depending on operational needs.
*Overtime work may be required.
*Not applicable during the 6 months probationary period.
*The above range is an estimate and includes all allowance, except overtime pay. The final salary will be determined based on the applicant’s qualifications, skills and experience.
-Ability to communicate and perform duties in English and Cebuano or Tagalog.
-Possess University degree or equivalent education background.
-Prior experience in general administrative work for at least one year is preferred.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other similar software.
-Applicants who are not Philippine national should hold permanent resident status and valid authorization to work in the Philippines.
-Applicants should be willing to work on weekends or during late hours in the event of emergencies or urgent situations.

For applicants whose native language is not Japanese may be required to undergo a Japanese language assessment, as a high level of Japanese proficiency is necessary due to the advance level of Japanese needed for the position.
Applicants who pass the initial screening stage will be required to submit an NBI Clearance.
Please note that applicants may be disqualified if they cannot be reached or do not respond after repeated contact attempts by the Consulate. Submitted documents will not be returned, regardless of the outcome of the application.
