　On May 14, Consul-General Yudai UENO met with the Honorable Aljew Jordan Frasco, Mayor of Liloan, in a meaningful meeting focused on fostering stronger Philippines-Japan relations at the local community level. Liloan is a beautiful coastal town located slightly north of Cebu City, experiencing remarkable growth. The Consul General and the mayor agreed on the importance of strengthening community-level relations from the perspective that local exchanges are vital, create beneficial opportunities for people, and ultimately lead to mutual understanding in both countries.
